Chavah submitted in the category of Graffiti with her image called "QueenC". This is the Bangle design that was born of that original work of art. Born in Western Samoa in 1984, raised in Auckland and now living in Southland, life for Chavah has always been diverse and colourful, just the way she likes it. She is inspired by her heritage, emotions, motherhood, beliefs and reflections on life. These ideas are translated onto canvas through texture; symbolism and poetry to create an array of work that can connect personally with each individual. Her paintings are creative and colourful as she chooses colours, subjects and styles that reflect her mood on the day.
